The National Shrine of La Salette Festival of Lights will begin on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28, 2019 and run through Sunday, January 5, 2020 - The Day of Epiphany. Just 50 minutes from our station in Fairhaven, it's a great spectacle for families to get in the holiday spirit.

More than 300,000 lights will cover the shrine's 10 acres. The annual light display will be visible from 5 to 9 pm, free of charge.

The shrine also offers concerts with various artists, food and drink available for purchase, an International Creche museum with hundreds of creches from around the world, and an Outdoor Creche of Bethlehem featuring a candle lit with a flame from Bethlehem, Israel.

It's also a pretty great date night idea for any couple. Makes for cute Instagram pics.

There's no doubt that this place gets packed quickly, especially on the weekends.

"Traffic can get very heavy on weekends, especially Saturday night. If you can plan your trip for a weekday, you will find getting in is easy in comparison. If you do wish to come on the weekend, we advise you get here before 4:30 PM to miss the traffic." - The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette

The National Shrine of Our Lady of La Salette is located at 947 Park St. Attleboro, MA. Admission is free, but donations are greatly appreciated.
