Falmouth Will Not Tear Down Turbines, For Now

Falmouth residents who want to tear down two wind turbines will have to try again after failing to get enough votes at a town meeting last night. 

The 125-to-72 vote in favor of removing the turbines did not reach the two-thirds majority necessary to pass.  The measure would have authorize spending up to 14-million dollars to remove the turbines, which have generated numerous noise and health complaints.
