Fall River Police Investigating After Two People Are Shot

FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Fall River Police are investigating after two people were shot in the city this afternoon.

Fall River Police said units were dispatched at about 1:50 p.m. today to the 100-block of John Street after receiving multiple calls regarding a male who had reportedly been shot.

Officers arrived at the scene to find two victims, a male and a female, both suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest.

Both individuals were transported to local hospitals for immediate medical attention. Police said their status is unknown at this time.
