Those interested in South Coast Rail construction in Fall River are invited to tune in to a virtual public meeting on Thursday, Feb. 25 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority will host the Fall River Community Meeting on Zoom, and the project team will present an update on the Fall River Depot Station, Weaver's Cove Layover Facility, and the start of construction in the city.

Following the presentation, the team will answer questions. Materials will be posted on the event page the morning of the meeting. A recording will be posted shortly afterward for those who are unable to attend.

It's one of a series of meetings hosted by the MBTA. To view previous presentations and recordings from meetings in New Bedford, Middleborough, and Taunton, people may visit the the documents page. Future meetings in other communities will be announced.

For more information about the South Coast Rail project and environmental documents, the project website can be accessed at at www.mass.gov/southcoastrail. People are invited to contact the project team with any questions at SouthCoastRail@dot.state.ma.us.
