Fall River and Somerset Police Arrest Two for Allegedly Dealing Meth
SOMERSET (WBSM) — Fall River Police and Somerset Police teamed up to arrest two people charged with dealing crystal meth in the area.
According to Fall River Police, detectives were investigating a methamphetamine operation they said was taking place out of a camper on the property of 147 Luther Avenue in Somerset.
Police said Derek Jones, 34, and Monica Thibault, 31, were allegedly selling meth and other drugs to people in the Fall River-Somerset area.

The Fall River detectives teamed with Somerset Police on a joint investigation and obtained a search warrant for the camper. According to police, Jones and Thibault were both in the camper at the time, with Jones “found hiding in a storage area located under the camper’s bed at the time of the search warrant.”
A search of the camper turned up 114 grams of meth as well as digital scales and packaging materials, police said.
Both Jones and Thibault were arrested and charged with trafficking in more than 100 grams of methamphetamine and possession of Class B drugs. Jones also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
