Fall River Police Arrest Providence Man on Gun and Drug Charges
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — On Thursday, November 9, a lengthy joint investigation between Fall River's Vice, Gang, and Intelligence Unit and the Providence Police Department's Narcotics Bureau led to a warrant arrest of a Providence man.
Ronny Llenas-Pichardo, 27, of Providence, Rhode Island was arrested in Fall River on an outstanding warrant in addition to several narcotics and firearms offenses.
Llenas-Pichardo was taken into custody in Fall River while allegedly attempting to complete a narcotics transaction.
During his arrest, 1,950 Blue Glassine bags containing approximately 39 grams of fentanyl and $518 were in his possession, according to Fall River police.
Police conducted a search warrant at Llenas-Pichardo's Rhode Island residence, which led to the seizure of approximately 182.32 grams of fentanyl, a Draco 7.62 caliber semi-automatic firearm, and other materials consistent with the packaging and distribution of narcotics.
Llenas-Pichardo is charged in Fall River with trafficking 36 grams of fentanyl and two counts of distribution of a Class A drug.
He faces additional charges in the state of Rhode Island for narcotics and firearms-related offenses.
