FALL RIVER — Fall River Police are asking for the public's help in their search for the suspect in a recent shooting and assault incident that left two men with injuries.

Police said Michael Sewell, 43, of Fall River is wanted in connection to the shooting that took place on July 22 near the intersection of South Main Street and Dwelly Street.

According to police, one man was assaulted and another man was shot during the incident.

Both victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries.

Sewell is described as being six feet, two inches tall and weighing around 260 pounds, with brown eyes.

Police ask anyone with information regarding his whereabouts to contact the Fall River Police Department at 508-676-8511.
