Fall River Police Hunt For Stabbing Suspect

Fall River Police are asking for the public's help in locating a suspect in a weekend stabbing.

Police responded to Ship's Cove Apartments on Canal Street late Saturday for a report of a stabbing. They found the victim, a 37-year-old male suffering from critical injuries. He was transported to Rhode Island Hospital and is currently in serious condition.

Following an investigation, Police identified Patrick Theriault as the suspect. An arrest warrant has been issued charging him with armed assault with intent to murder, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, causing substantial injury.
