
Fall River Police Arrest Man For Allegedly Stealing Vehicle, Crashing
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — Police arrested a man Wednesday afternoon in Fall River after he allegedly fled from police in a stolen car and then crashed with an SUV.
According to reports, a trooper noticed the stolen vehicle at approximately 3 p.m. driving at a high rate of speed on Route 24 South in Fall River. The vehicle was allegedly spotted by police near Exit 5 before exiting the highway.

Authorities later found that the vehicle was involved in a crash with an SUV in the area of Eastern Avenue and Bedford Street.
The suspect was placed in custody and transported to the hospital due to minor injuries. The operator of the SUV was also transported to the hospital due to possible injuries from the crash.
The suspect's name has not been released.
