Fall River Man Killed in Wareham Crash Identified

WAREHAM — Massachusetts State Police have released the name of the man killed in an early morning crash in Wareham earlier this week.

Police say Joseph Faria, 48, of Fall River, was killed after the pickup truck he was a passenger in struck a dump truck on I-195 East Monday morning and then veered off the highway and into the treeline. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

Police are still searching for the dump truck that was struck, and say it may have damage to the rear left side of the truck bed.
