Fall River Police Make Multiple Arrests and Seize Firearms
FALL RIVER (WSBM) — Fall River Police have arrested four people and have taken two illegal firearms off the street.
On March 12 at 9 p.m., police conducted a surveillance operation on Flint Street. During that time, police observed a group of males on Pleasant Street who took off on foot after officers approached them.
Jovanni Rivera, 18, was taken into custody following the pursuit. Police said they recovered a black and gray Glock 48 in his possession. The remaining three people – one adult and two juveniles – were taken into custody a short time later.
Rivera is charged with carrying a firearm without a license to carry, carrying a loaded firearm without a license to carry, and possession of a large-capacity firearm.
Kyle Pimental,18, is also charged with carrying a firearm without a license to carry, carrying a loaded firearm without a license to carry, and possession of a large-capacity firearm.
Both juveniles are charged with carrying a firearm without a license to carry, carrying a loaded firearm without a license to carry, possession of a large-capacity firearm, and trespassing.
