Happy Wet Nose Wednesday!

It's the day of the week on Fun 107 that belongs to the animals on the SouthCoast. Hundreds of animals are up for adoption, hoping to find a place to call home, and it's our mission to unite these animals with the perfect families.

With the help of local shelters, we shine the light on one lucky pet, and this week, we head to Forever Paws Animal Shelter where an adorable bulldog is ready and waiting.

Say Hello to Oscar, a French bulldog, less than a year old and a fan of play. He loves people, but he has a tendency to play a little rough, so older children are recommended for his forever family.

Oscar was found as a stray and brought into the shelter where no one came forward to claim him.

How could you not claim this pup? Just look at that face.
"He would do well with some basic training and will do well in most homes that
are ready to take on a high-energy pup," the shelter said.
Don't worry about Oscar's "cherry eye." That will be repaired when he gets neutered.
He would do well in a home as the only dog or with another easy-going, tolerant dog. He even does well with cats.
Does Oscar sound like a good fit for you and your family? Contact Forever Paws Animal Shelter and schedule a play date today.

If SouthCoast Dogs Had a Dating App, It Would Look Something Like This

August 26 is International Dog Day, and it got me thinking. What if there was a way for dogs to connect with other dogs in the area to make new friends? Or maybe even find love? Twenty-six dogs living on the SouthCoast sent me their profile picture and bio. Let's see the eligible pups.
