Fall River Police have made an arrest in connection with a bank robbery last month.

Detective J.D. Costa says 30-year-old Aaron Richard of Doctor Street in Fall River was arrested at his home before 9am Friday morning for his alleged involvement in the May 28 robbery of a Bank Five branch on North Main Street.

Police say Richard approached a teller that day, demanded cash, took the money and fled the scene. An arrest warrant was soon issued for Richard. He has four additional outstanding warrants pending against him.

Richard has been charged with unarmed robbery, larceny from a building, and larceny of a motor vehicle subsequent offense, in addition to receiving a stolen motor vehicle and resisting arrest connected to two warrants form 2011.
