Bristol County District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn announced that a 17-year-old male has been arrested for the murder of his 20-year-old relative Saturday in a home on Rodman Street. The victim has now been identified as Jaleale Simmons.
On March 15 at about 12:30 p.m., Fall RIver Police and EMS responded to the third floor of 983 Rodman Street for a report of a male who had been shot inside. They arrived to find Simmons with a gunshot wound to his chest.
He was transported to St. Anne’s Hospital in Fall River, where he was pronounced deceased shortly after his arrival.
