
Fall River Police Arrest 18-Year-Old for Possession of Gun and Ammo
FALL RIVER (WBSM) — An 18-year-old was arrested in Fall River after police allegedly found him in possession of a loaded firearm and ammunition.
According to Fall River Police, Community Action and Suppression Team detectives, assisted by the Emergency Services Unit, executed a search warrant in the 400-block of Warren Street. Police said the target of the search was Aaron Pavao, 18.
Police said a Walther PPKS firearm was recovered, loaded with five rounds of .380-caliber ammunition. They said additional rounds of both .22-caliber and 9mm ammunition were also found in the residence.

Pavao was arrested and charged with possession of a firearm without an LTC/FID and two counts of possession of ammunition without an LTC/FID.
“This arrest represents another successful, coordinated effort to remove illegal firearms from our community,” police said. “The Fall River Police Department remains committed to proactive enforcement and collaboration to reduce gun violence and enhance public safety."
