Fairhaven’s Fort Phoenix Polar Plunge

Start off the New Year by plunging into the icy cold waters of Fairhaven’s Fort Phoenix State Beach at the South end of Green Street at 10am.

According to the Fairhaven Office of Tourism, the theme for 2016 is “Get Your Hawaiian On” so grab a grass skirt and challenge your family and friends to come out and plunge in remembrance of the victims of domestic violence.

A donation of $25 buys a long sleeve T-shirt.

Shirts will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Also, you can choose if you want to take the daring plunge into the water or not.

Registration and t-shirts can be purchased at the Plunge from 9:00am to 9:45am and checks can be made payable to: Fairhaven Dollars for Scholars. Please note on the check: Ft. Phoenix Polar Plunge.
