Fairhaven Town Counsel

Fairhaven Selectmen interviewed three candidates for Town Counsel Monday night, weighing the large Boston law firm Kopelman and Paige against two local attorneys, current town counsel Thomas Crotty and former Dartmouth Selectman Joseph Michaud. Selectmen made it clear that they would most likely go for the cheapest candidate possible, unless they could be otherwise convinced. Selectmen asked each candidate to prove that they would be worth extra charges. No decision was made at the meeting
