FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) — Fairhaven Police are investigating a rollover crash that sent a New Bedford man to the hospital.

According to Fairhaven Police Lt. Kevin Kobza, police and EMS responded to the area of Main Street and North Street for a reported rollover crash just after 8 p.m. on Thursday, November 2.

First responders arrived to find a 2003 Cadillac DeVille resting on its side. Its sole occupant, a 32-year-old New Bedford man, was treated at the scene before being transported by ambulance to St. Luke’s Hospital in New Bedford.

His condition was not released.

Kobza said the investigation indicates the man lost control of the Cadillac, which struck a curb. It then struck the rear of a 2015 Hyundai Sonata, struck a utility pole, and then rolled onto its side.

The occupants of the Hyundai were not injured, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
