FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) — Fairhaven Police are searching for a man who fled a Fairhaven residence after allegedly trying to break in on Saturday.

Police were dispatched to a residence on James Street around 6 p.m. on December 2 for a surveillance report of an unidentified man approaching the house.

According to police, the person fled the area in a vehicle. The vehicle was later located on Francis Street.

The operator of the vehicle, identified as Bryce Williams-Devlin, 23, fled on foot and has not yet been located. Police said Williams-Devlin is known to them, and his last known address is in New Bedford.

Charges against William-Devlin are still pending, and the case remains under active investigation.
