The town of Fairhaven took another step in selling two elementary schools Tuesday night.

During a Special Town Meeting, members approved the transfer of Rogers and Oxford schools into the Town's possession. This allows the Board of Selectmen to begin the sale process.

Fairhaven's executive administrator Jeffrey Osuch explains what's next.

Residents have been debating the sale of the schools all year, but there was no discussion before the vote.

Members also approved $9,000 in funds to be used for costs associated with the sale.
