Anyone who’s ever had a child lose their favorite stuffed animal knows the panic that instantly sets in. One minute it’s tucked safely under an arm, and the next it’s gone without a trace. As a dad myself, this one hit me right in the heart.

A well-loved Bluey plush toy was found Monday, May 18 at Fort Phoenix in Fairhaven by Jennifer Andrews, who later posted about it on Facebook around 3 p.m. hoping to track down its owner. She immediately knew it probably meant the world to some little kid out there. Judging by its worn and cuddly appearance, this wasn’t just some random toy tossed aside. This Bluey clearly has stories, adventures and probably a bedtime routine attached to it.

“We found this today at Fort Phoenix playground,” Andrews shared. “It looks well loved. Could be someone’s favorite Bluey.” That part got me.

Every Parent Understands This Feeling

Not too long ago, my own son misplaced his beloved Big Bird stuffie, and for a little while, you would’ve thought the world was ending. Thankfully, we eventually found it hiding in the car, but I’ll never forget how crushed he was in those moments before we did. That’s why I’m hoping we can help reunite this Bluey with its tiny owner.

Thankfully, the plush is safe and sound with Andrews while everyone tries to track down where it belongs. If this looks familiar to you or your child, feel free to reach out to me at Gazelle@Fun107.com and I’ll happily help connect you with Andrews so Bluey can make it back home where it belongs.
