
Fairhaven Man Arrested for Allegedly Pointing Gun in Road Rage Incident
FAIRHAVEN (WBSM) — A Fairhaven man was arrested this morning after he allegedly pointed a loaded gun at another motorist in a reported road rage incident.
According to Fairhaven Police, a call came in at 7:17 a.m. today placed by the victim, who said he was driving east on Route 6 in the area of Shaw Road when a white Dodge Caravan pulled up beside him.
“The victim stated that the lone occupant of the Caravan pointed a handgun at him and his male passenger, who were heading to work at the time,” according to Fairhaven Police Lieutenant Timothy Souza. “The white Caravan then sped off east into Mattapoisett.”

Mattapoisett Police then located the Caravan and pulled it over in the area of 88 North Street in Mattapoisett. Fairhaven Police arrived and found the suspect – identified as Dillan Flores, 33, of Fairhaven – allegedly in possession of a loaded firearm.
He was placed under arrested and charged with carrying a loaded weapon without a license to carry, possession of ammunition without an FID card and assault with a dangerous weapon.
He is expected to be arraigned in New Bedford District Court.
