Energy Firm To Move Headquarters To NB Business Park

There will soon be a new firm in the New Bedford Business Park.

The Mayor's Office says HTP Inc. of Freetown will move part of their operations to the Business Park and expand.  HTP manufactures green energy devices for space and water heating..

HTP will move into the former AFC Cable location, and company President Dave Martin calls it a perfect setup for his firm....

Martin says he's excited about the firm's next chapter, and the opportunity to grow the company in the Business Park.  HTP expects to create up to 40 more jobs over the next few years.

Martin also praised the cooperation shown by the New Bedford Economic Development Office in paving the way for HTP's move to the Business Park.

Economic Development Director Derek Santos said HTP's decision was a big win for the city and the Business Park .
