Elderly Man Critically Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle in New Bedford

NEW BEDFORD — An elderly man was struck by a vehicle and critically injured early Saturday morning in New Bedford.

Police responded to the accident at 5:38 a.m. Saturday.

The man was transported to Rhode Island Hospital, where he is listed in critical condition.

The accident remains under investigation.
