Edward Snowden, the NSA whistle-blower, was supposed to be heading to Havana on Monday but all reports say that he is still in Russia. 

WBUR reports that while most expected Snowden to be on a plane on Monday, he was not on the flight. Snowden left Hong Kong on Sunday, despite US protest. Now, he is seemingly off the grid.

Snowden, the man who leaked information that the United States was spying on citizens through servers at Microsoft, Google, Apple and more through a top secret program called PRISM. The Prime Minister of Ecuador said that Snowden is seeking asylum in that country.

The flight that Snowden got on in Hong Kong was supposed to go through Moscow, but his current whereabouts and destination are unknown.
