In August, Eddie Bauer Company will release the "Eddie Bauer Adventure Guide, a free iPhone app, to help you plan outdoor activities in more than 10,000 locations across the country," according to Outside.

"The app was designed to serve as the ultimate resource for planning outdoor adventures," states Pitchengine. Weather, temperature, distance, duration of trip, driving directions, pet and child friendliness are a few features provided by this app.

My adventure into the outdoors just got a little easier. I think the only problem I may have is choosing which activity I want to experience.
