Downtown New Bedford Restaurant Closes

A downtown New Bedford restaraunt has closed its doors after 14 months in existence. The owner of the  Urban Grille on Purchase Street closed the restaraunt last week citing a combination of reasons for the closing including the lack of a liquor license. Owner Mariano Pinho says that he was looking for a miracle that never came and admitted he didn't do enough marketing except on social media. He added he wants to pay off his debts before he might look for another spot with a liquor license and parking.
