Double Homicide Reportedly Under Investigation in Middleboro

MIDDLEBORO — A double homicide is reportedly under investigation in Middleboro.

Middleboro Police Chief Joseph Perkins put out a press announcement stating that the Middleboro Police Department and investigators from the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office are conducting a death investigation.

Multiple outlets are reporting one man has been detained in connection with the incident.

News reports indicate two people found dead in a Highland Street home. According to the Brockton Enterprise, police were called for a well-being check after the boss of a male resident reported he hadn't shown up for work. When police arrived at about 6:32 this morning, they forced their way in and discovered two bodies.

Middleboro Police will be holding a press conference with more information at noon today.
