Sen. Kamala Harris (D-California) was a part of the lynch mob that went after Judge Brett Kavanaugh when he was nominated to the U.S. Supreme Court by President Donald Trump two years ago. Kavanaugh was accused of sexual assault by a woman who could not remember the incident or when or where it occurred. She just knew that it had. Harris believed her – or at least she said she did.

The lack of evidence of a crime did not deter Harris in her quest to destroy Judge Kavanaugh and his chance to be confirmed to the Supreme Court. Kavanaugh's denials and scores of character statements and other evidence did not dissuade Harris, either. She believed that Kavanaugh was a sexual predator and "unfit" to serve on the Supreme Court.

Harris, a member of the Senate Judiciary Committee that eventually voted to approve the Kavanaugh nomination, led a walkout of committee members rather than give Kavanaugh the courtesy and respect he deserved in a fair hearing.

Harris suspected Kavanaugh was part of some sinister plot to overturn Roe v. Wade and said his nomination "threatens to cloud the legitimacy of the Supreme Court of the United States."

Harris was not satisfied to oppose the Kavanaugh nomination. She sought to destroy his character in the process, saying Kavanaugh "does not have the character, the temperament, or the judgment to sit on the highest court in our land. His own partisan, evasive, dishonest, and aggressive testimony demonstrates that we cannot trust him to be a fair and unbiased jurist. He is simply unfit."

Harris subscribed to the "believe all women" logic even when the evidence is not there to support the woman's claim. I suspect that Harris' real beef with Kavanaugh had more to do with abortion rights than anything else.

Harris refused to give Kavanaugh the benefit of the doubt even when there was no evidence to support the allegations against him. Her contention that a man is guilty just because a woman says so should send chills up the spines of all men and the women in their lives.

The Democrats want to place Kamala Harris and her poor judgment within a heartbeat of the presidency. Think about that for a moment.
