Diabetes Cases Hit Global Record

The number of cases of diabetes is hitting a global record. Medical experts say the number of cases has soared to some 382-million this year. The majority of people have type 2 diabetes, the kind linked to obesity and lack of exercise. However, the disease is spreading as more people in the developing world adopt Western, urban lifestyles.
