Detroit Is America’s Most Dangerous City

Detroit tops the FBI's list as America's most dangerous big city.

Crime statistics released Monday show the Motor City led the nation last year in murder rates and violent crime rates among cities with more than 100-thousand residents.

Detroit's murder rate was ten times the national average in 2013. New Orleans, Newark, New Jersey, St. Louis and Baltimore round out the FBI's top five for highest murder rates in the nation's biggest cities. (Metro Networks Inc.)
