Deputy James Creed – ‘Beyond the Call of Duty’
Plymouth Deputy Sheriff James Creed is going to be featured on CNN’s ‘Beyond the Call of Duty’ in January.
Creed took Arthur DaRosa down with a single shot from his personal firearm on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. We spoke to Rosemary Heath, who lost her husband during the Taunton rampage.
“It’s a segment on officers going above and beyond. Lt. Creed, Laura and I were interviewed. I got to call him my hero. I got to thank Laura for giving me the clarity to say goodbye to George. I owe him my life, and her my peace.”
Creed’s actions certainly saved many more lives that fateful night, and he deserves to be recognized as a hero.
The special will air on Friday, January 6, 2017 around 7:30 am and again at 3 pm. It will also be available online at CNN.com.
