First, they launched Michael Cohen. The former attorney for President Trump was caught up in charges stemming from 2012 through 2016 which included tax fraud, unlawful corporate contributions, making false statements to a financial institution, and others.

CNN, once involved in adversary positions with Cohen during on-air pre-election interviews, fell over themselves, ready to believe Cohen's word as soon as he attempted to use his now-former client President Trump as a bargaining chip to reduce prison time.

The mainstream media of which CNN is part began to paint Cohen as a credible witness into the "mob-like world" of Donald Trump. The attempt to demonize Trump flat on its face. The mainstream media backed the wrong horse.

This was a prelude into what became the pattern that has not stopped these three years later.

The next launch on the pad came in the form of Michael Avenatti, a California attorney to the stars. He represented Stormy Daniels in a lawsuit against Trump in 2018. Trump was accused of having an affair with the porn star, and she was looking to invalidate a non-disclosure agreement between herself and Trump.

As it turns out, it was Michael Cohen who ended up paying Daniels and this was when Cohen planned to turn on Donald Trump by buying the rights to any book or movie that would come from the alleged tryst.

Cohen is now best known for being a convicted liar.

Avenatti was given the red carpet treatment by the mainstream media. He was willing to say the ugliest things about a president as allowed on a network news channel, and CNN's and MSNBC's attitude was to encourage him to keep them coming. He made 108 appearances between the two news networks between March 7 and May 10, 2018.

CNN's buffoon Chris Cillizza was even considering the distinct possibility of elevating their new-found "hero" to presidential candidate status.

Avenatti was arrested later in 2018 for suspicion of domestic violence, again for extortion of Nike Corp., again for defrauding a Mississippi bank by submitting bogus tax returns to secure a $4 million dollar loan, and yet again for defrauding clients (including a double amputee) of $5 million to buy his private jet.

His now-former client Stormy Daniels is also accusing him of stealing $300,000 from her. In 2019, Daniels was ordered to pay all court costs incurred by Donald Trump.

So as you can see, MSNBC and CNN really know how to vet their anti-Trump guests.

The newest "SCUD missile" (SCUD was a Soviet missile system used by Iraq's Saddam Hussein, notoriously poor at hitting their targets) launched by the Democrats and their media partners at MSNBC comes in the form of Soviet-born Lev Parnas, a former associate of Trump lawyer Rudy Guiliani.

The shameless Rachel Maddow and MSNBC producers have once again fallen over themselves in an attempt to break the news of bombshell damaging information about President Trump.

Parnas came on Maddow's show Wednesday evening and told of Trump's being aware of his bringing messages to Ukrainian officials that the congressionally-funded aid amounting to some $400 million would never reach Ukraine unless President Zelensky announced an investigation was opening against Joe Biden and his son Hunter, who worked in Ukraine for Burisma Holdings, an energy company.

The wheels have already showed signs of coming off as Ukrainian Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko told CNN's Christiane Amanpour, “It’s all over the Ukrainian media as well today and yesterday and strangely enough my name was not mentioned although I am Minister of Foreign Affairs. And frankly I never spoke with this individual. And again frankly I don’t trust any word again he’s now saying.”

Not once in Maddow's interview on MSNBC did she allow her audience to know that Parnas was arrested while attempting to flee the country, facing charges of conspiracy, making false statements and falsification of records.

Obviously, it is reasonable to presume that Parnas would love to arrange a form of immunity to escape prison time – and what better way to do this than to suddenly be a valued witness to crimes allegedly committed by President Trump? He's also implicated Vice President Mike Pence, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Giuliani, and Attorney General Mike Barr.

Just as with the other SCUDs launched by the reckless media, I assume at the direction of the Democrats, I predict this Parnas will fall short – amounting to another thud in the desert.
