Defunding School Cops Is a Stupid Idea [OPINION]
As communities all across the nation scramble to defund, dismantle or abolish their police departments in the name of social justice and all that is right and noble, there is an even more dangerous phenomenon rattling around in the brains of these fools. How about school districts that are attempting to cut their relationships with the police?
In other words, kick the cops out of our schools.
The imbeciles that are elected to oversee school districts in several U.S. communities and several teacher's unions, including Union Teachers Los Angeles, are demanding the removal of police officers from schools. “
We have to dismantle white supremacy. We must ... defund the police and bring in the mental health services that our students need,” said Cecily Myart-Cruz, the incoming president of UTLA.
Any parent with kids in school who is listening to this garbage should be horrified. This is the generation of gang bangers and school shootings, and while many parents are demanding more protection for their kids these woke loons want to kick out the cops. I suppose we can put a barrel of rocks in each classroom and if a shooter comes into the building your kid gets one shot to knock him out with a piece of granite.
Adding to the lunacy is a statement by the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden that if elected he would end federal funding for training teachers and other school employees to arm and protect their school buildings against the threat of school shooters.
What type of moron would leave school kids and teachers defenseless against intruders who wish nothing more than to kill them? Of course, you'd be unable to help as these same forces are looking to seize your guns.
Folks, we have got to wake up and get a grip on reality soon or it's over. I mean as in OVAH!
