While the other two ballot questions passed in Massachusetts, the question proposing physician assisted suicide has fallen short. On Wednesday morning, the Death with Dignity Act campagin released a statement conceding saying 'regrettably, we fell short'.

The people opposing the death with dignity campaign were ahead by about 38,000 votes, and almost all precincts have reported. No comment yet from the opposing group.
