Daziah is a friendly, funny, and outgoing teenager, described as very pleasant to be around.

She has spina bifida, a condition in which the spine and spinal cord don't properly form, which requires ongoing medical attention. She has made incredible progress as she learns to become more independent.

Daziah loves to be self-sufficient. She said she'd love to go to college and eventually help kids dealing with spina bifida.

Daziah is very social and likes to talk about her interests and ideas. She is eager to participate in organized activities inside and outside of school.

A family that can support her health and intellectual needs would be ideal, especially one that could bring her to her appointments.

Daziah's social worker is open to families of most configurations as Daziah needs to have a woman role model be part of the family dynamic.

Daziah would like to maintain her relationship with her sister who lives in Massachusetts, too. Daziah also has monthly visits with her mother that must be maintained.
