Dartmouth TGI Friday’s Location Permanently Closed
NORTH DARTMOUTH (WBSM) — The TGI Friday’s location in North Dartmouth has permanently closed.
WBSM received a report this morning that a U-Haul truck had been spotted in the parking lot, cleaning out the Dartmouth Commons restaurant.
An employee of the restaurant confirmed with us when we called over that it is indeed permanently closed as of today. Its Google business listing has also been updated to reflect that it is permanently closed.
The webpage for the location has already been taken down from the TGI Friday’s website.
WBSM visited the restaurant and saw people packing up items from inside the restaurant and we were told they are being moved to the TGI Friday's in Manchester, New Hampshire.
A sign on the door reads, "We regret to inform you that Friday's has made the difficult decision to close our restaurant effective October 24, 2024.
Unfortunately, we do not have a nearby location but look for us in airports and other cities across the country.
We are extremely grateful to our loyal guests and team members and will miss serving this community."
In January of this year, TGI Friday’s announced it was abruptly closing 36 underperforming locations across 12 states. Six Massachusetts restaurants were on the list, including the Seekonk location.
The other Bay State locations that closed were in Berlin/Marlboro, Danvers, Dedham, Mansfield and North Attleboro.
The closest TGI Friday’s listed on the website now is Stoughton, Massachusetts.
