Dartmouth Police Arrest Homeless Woman on RI Warrant

DARTMOUTH — Dartmouth Police arrested a homeless woman early on New Year's Day who was wanted in Rhode Island on drug trafficking charges.

Police responded to the Dartmouth Motor Inn around 2 a.m. Monday on a report of a domestic disturbance.

There, they discovered a homeless woman, 32-year-old Ashley Lynn Reis, with an active extraditable warrant out of Rhode Island for trafficking and possession of dangerous drugs.

Reis was arrested and also charged with being a fugitive from justice.
