Jessica Mitchell's little boy has a pretty serious Christmas wish. The six-year-old doesn't just want an Army truck for Christmas. He is asking Santa for a very specific "gas powered military truck" that he can ride in.
He's looking for the real deal, guys.
Here's the problem: Jessica is fresh out of authentic military grade Army trucks and doesn't have the means to purchase one right now. She tried contacting Santa, but even Santa expressed some hesitation for giving a six-year-old the keys to a gas powered military truck.

Jessica did what any good mother would do in the year 2024: she turned to Facebook.
"My hopeful ask, is if someone in town has an older truck (like the ones in the Veteran’s Day or Memorial Day parades) that would be willing to give him/us a ride in the few days after Christmas?" she posted.
Jessica's thread on Hometown Fairhaven, MA (uncensored) got immediate attention from the page's members and they sprung into action. A number of the commenters mentioned a friend from Dartmouth that had the exact kind of military trucks Jessica's little guy was hoping to ride in.
That's when Taylor Andre saved the day.
"I have 2 (military) trucks, and I'd be happy to make his wish come true!" Andre wrote. "He can take his pick!"
Andre included pictures of the two trucks. The Dartmouth man owns both a 1970 AM General M3582 and a 1998 LMTV Stewart & Stevenson.
"I bought the 1970 AM General about a year or so ago and just recently bought the Stewart & Stevenson," he told us.
Andre said he's driven each of them in Dartmouth parades over the past year.
"I'm happy to make his wish come true," he said.
Andre never served in the military, "but I just like the looks of them and the reliability of the stuff that was made back then."
