The sports drama film CREED is, by far, the best Rocky saga since the real McCoy, that stays true to it's franchise, and yet packs a surprise punch that's genuine and very effective! This movie is everything you could ever have wanted and so much more. The filmmakers took the smartest approach with a story that crafts an emotional, compelling, funny and uplifting film that goes the distance with really strong performances by Sylvester Stallone and Michael B. Jordan. Stallone deserves credit for taking a gamble on Creed, and his portrayal of the aging champ is, in my opinion, his best ever performance since the original.

The mold of the Rocky phenomenon, that has unfolded on the silver screen for decades, is an archetype that exists for good reason. Creed doesn't break that standard, but it does delivers toe-to-toe performances by a hand chosen cast, and the release of Creed this week celebrates the 40th anniversary of the first classic exemplar on November 25, 1975
