The new Mayor of Fall River says his city needs a marketing campaign.

Twenty-four year old Jasiel Correia takes over for Sam Sutter, who lost to Correia in November after just eleven months in office.

In his Inaugural Address, Correia vowed to turn things around in Fall River, including the city's image.

"Together, with every member of this community, we'll work to shed the negative perceptions that have been unfairly cast on the City of Fall River for decades," said Correia.

The new Mayor says he wants to do a better job of marketing the city.

He also plans to eliminate the $10 monthly trash fee, implemented by his predecessor.

Lt. Governor Karyn Polito was among a number of elected officials attending Correia's inauguration on Monday
