Cop Shooting Suspect Found Dangerous
A Boston-area man has been found to be a danger to the community and is being held without bail.
Thomas Scott of Mattapan was found "dangerous" during a hearing Thursday in New Bedford District Court. He'll return to court on February 26th.
Scott and another man, Nathan Manuel-Jackson of New Bedford were arrested last weekend, and charged in connection with the shooting of a narcotics Detective during a drug raid at 244 Davis street. The detective was struck three times but the wounds were not life-threatening. He is recovering.
Manuel-Jackson will appear in court on Monday for his "dangerousness" hearing. Three others in the apartment are being summonsed to appear before a grand jury.
