Construction Work Closes Tarkin Hill Rd.

Road closures will be in effect on Tarkin Hill Rd. in New Bedford.

Lt. John Chaves says the impacted area will be at the intersection Tarkin Hill Rd. and Ashley Blvd.

Detours will be posted and officers will be on hand to direct motorists.

Tuesday's closure is expected to last until 3 p.m.

Jersey barriers will be in place but the road will be open to traffic.
