Ninth District Congressman William Keating (D-Mass.) has released a statement on the report by Special Counsel Robert Mueller that was delivered Friday by the Attorney General.

“The purpose of the Mueller investigation was to investigate threats and attacks to our democracy. The public should have full access to all the information in the Mueller report, absent any material that would compromise intelligence sources or methods. Providing the public with a summarized or sanitized version would only compromise confidence in our democracy - the very thing this investigation is trying to protect.”
Attorney General William Barr told lawmakers he might inform them of the "principal conclusions" as soon as this weekend. Democrats are demanding that nothing be held back saying they will issue subpoenas if necessary. Barr told lawmakers in a letter that he remains committed to as much transparency as possible.
