Congress Must Investigate Boston Bombings

Incredible as it sounds, one of the three new bombing suspects was actually allowed to return to the United States in January, even though he didn't have a valid student visa, because he was academically thrown out of UMASS-Dartmouth!

So why was Azamat Tazhayakov allowed to re-enter our country? Nobody bothered to notify U.S. Customs and Boarder Protection that Tazhayakov was dismissed! And if this Kazakhstan national knew he no longer was enrolled at UMD, why was he so intent on returning here?

There have been a few disclosures of important information falling between the cracks, and I agree with the Republican lawmakers, that Congressional oversight hearings must get to the bottom of how U.S. Intelligence agencies share information and if there were possible lapses that could have prevented the bombings.
