Cong. Keating Urges Men To Join White Ribbon Campaign, Take Pledge To Never Commit Violence Against Women

Mass. Congressman William Keating is bringing the White Ribbon campaign to the Southcoast, and he's asking other men to join in. 

During a meeting Tuesday night in Downtown New Bedford, Keating asked men in attendance to take a pledge to never commit violence against women, and to carry that message to schools, their workplace, and community events....

Supporting the campaign was New Bedford Mayor Jon Mitchell, State Rep. Chris Markey, and Pamela Macleod-Lima of the New Bedford Women's Center.

Keating recently introduced the White Ribbon campaign on the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives...urging his colleagues to take the pledge.
