Can you imagine the audacity of a politician buying commercial time on The Weather Channel as a category 4 hurricane threatens to blow Florida off the map?  One did.

The Clinton campaign, having received immediate blow back from local officials,  cancelled a plan to flood The Weather Channel with campaign ads as the Sunshine State braces for what could be an epic hurricane.  That's right, even as Disney and Sea World were zipping up tight and residents were grabbing the last of the milk and bread from store shelves, some nit wit within the campaign thought it was a good idea to pound a captive audience with even more campaign ads.  Just what you want during a crisis, Hillary Clinton ads.

Local officials immediately pounced and it didn't take long for the campaign to realize it was a bad idea.  It is amazing though the lengths that some politicians will go to exploit a situation, even a life and death crisis, in order to pander.  This, by the way from the woman who was no where in sight when Louisiana faced mammoth  flooding over the summer.  SMH.
