The Centro Luzo Club and United New Bedford are joining forces to host a Thanksgiving dinner.

Centro Luzo Club President Adrian Carvalho, Jr. and United New Bedford President Edwin Cartagena,  joined the Rev. David Lima, Executive Minister of the Inter-Church Council of Greater New Bedford came to the Phil Paleologos Show to discuss the dinner, their respective organizations, and the needs of the community at large.

Both groups are seeking donations of turkeys for the dinner, as well as winter clothes to help those in need prepare for the oncoming cold.

The dinner starts at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Centro Luzo Club.

Those who would like to make a donation can deliver it to the Centro Luzo Club at 34 Beetle St. in New Bedford, between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.
