Cape Cod Murder

Authorities have charged a second person with murder in connection with a fatal, drug-related shooting in Bourne earlier this week.
The Cape and Islands district attorney's office announced that 20-year-old Amonty Amado of Wareham is scheduled to be arraigned on a murder charge in connection with the shooting Tuesday of Antone Gutierrez.

Sonny Tavares was held without bail at his arraignment Wednesday on a murder charge stemming from Gutierrez's death. The 22-year-old Gutierrez, found lying in the middle of a road, died later at a hospital.

Prosecutors allege Gutierrez was shot during a heroin transaction.
