Carey Price stopped all 25 shots he saw as the Canadiens blanked the Bruins 4-0 at Bell Centre to force a Game Seven in their Eastern Conference semifinal.
Thomas Vanek scored once on the power play and again into an empty net as Montreal evened the series at three games apiece. It will mark the ninth time the rivals have met in a Game Seven. Max Pacioretty and Lars Eller also scored for the Habs.
Boston's Tuukka Rask made 24 saves in goal.
The Bruins will host Game Seven on Wednesday.
